Description

Saturday, October 5th, 2019  from 17:45pm to 18:15pm

The biggest difference between wine and sake is, wine is made from grapes (a fruit), and sake is made from rice (a grain). This difference causes many complications on what terroir means with sake. These complications cause a lot of confusion, even among sake experts. This session examines what these complications are, and what terroir means in sake. Takehisa founded Monten Ltd. in 2018, to support sake breweries through branding and marketing. With a wide range of experience various areas (finance, marketing, venture capital, corporate revitalization etc.), Takehisa brings a new perspective on what premium sake can be.
