9th European Sake Summit.

Sake has a long and venerable history in Japan, but its journey is comparatively only just beginning in the West. Has the European perspective on sake revolutionized the way this traditional beverage is promoted, marketed, associated with gastronomy or even simply enjoyed? Has the nature of this beverage, rooted in tradition, been interpreted/reinvented for the Western consumer?
What solutions, innovations have been found and what impact on the market?
While we celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Salon du Saké last year, this 9th “European Sake Summit” will focus on continuing to collaborate on the development of sake in various European countries and exploring its future over the next 10 years.
The current recognition of sake, including the recent UNESCO nomination, and its place in the world which is the current 2025 theme of Salon du Saké and the central theme of this year program, will be a major point in these discussions.

These are the questions that will be addressed this year for this 9th summit of experts, composed of professionals from all over Europe.
Some of the discussions will be in small private groups but the last session, taking a tour of the state of the market in Europe, will be open to the public and will be held on Monday morning from 11:00 to 11:45.
