Kamezo Miyashita and Motosaburo Miyashita, the founding fathers of the brewery, both from Akaiwa,
pride themselves as the worthy successors of the family know-how. They started their activity as
brewers in Tamano in 1915. In 1967, the brewery was moved to its current location, close to the Asahigawa River, one of the three most important rivers of the Okayama region.
