SUNDAY October 2, 2022 from 12pm till

Right now, there are 13 Geographical Indications (GIs, including “Japanese Sake”) being designated, and there is more to be coming.
Now is a time where sake lovers are seriously debating what makes a sake truly reflects its regionality. Is it the rice? Is it the water? Is it the toji school? Is there any regionality in the first place?
A specialist in GI in Japan, will explain how he see things developing in this debate.
This conference will be held in English.
