Salon du Saké 2023: Only 5 more days to go… for a Festival of Unforgettable Flavors!

Dear Salon du Sake visitors,

If you haven’t already planned your program, now is the time to prepare for this coming weekend which will see the opening of the 2023 Saké Salon, next Saturday September 30 at 10:30 a.m. for 3 days (2 for the general public) unforgettable and tasty at the New Cap Event Center, Paris 15th.

The theme for this year 2023 is: Water and rice.
From Saturday, you will have the opportunity to discover some 70 exhibitors including 7 major sake regions of Japan and 1 shochu region with, for each, many new products:

• Niigata which will be our “Guest Prefecture of Honor 2023”
• Okama
• Saga
• Hiroshima
• Kyoto
• Hokkaido
• Shizuoka
• Kumamoto (Kuma Shochu)

More than 600 Japanese drinks for free tasting:

A taste of what awaits you during the 3 days of the show:
8 Tasting workshops:
To immerse yourself in the complex world of Japanese sake flavors with its subtle nuances and wonderful accompaniment to the dishes prepared by our partner chefs (5 themes, each offering 3 to 5 different sakes):
• Carte blanche to chef Mitsuru Yanase: “The virtues of rice” (Sunday). The chef of the Vertus gourmet restaurant has specially composed a 4-course menu based on 4 types of rice:
o Sticky rice (mochigome) for a play of different textures served with Kobe beef
o Black rice (kuromai) rich in flavors and accompanied by sweetbreads
o Italian Risotto
o Sesame rice pudding (round rice)
• Sushi and sake (Saturday with the sushi chef of the Kura gourmet restaurant)
• Ikura-don (rice and salmon roe) and sake (Saturday and Sunday)
• Cheeses, Japanese condiments and sake (Saturday and Sunday)
• Caviar and sake (Saturday and Sunday)

Master classes, conferences, round tables:
