The 2020 “Salon du Saké” Has Been Rescheduled to October 31-November 2, 2020 27 April 2020 – Posted in: 2020 Press Release

Dear Exhibitors, Partners, Visitors and Friends:

We are hoping that you, as well as your close relatives, family and colleagues are all in good health and doing fine.

The ongoing circumstances are exceptionally severe and major uncertainties as to their outcome are persisting. In the event, nobody is actually in a position to provide immediate answers to a number of legitimate queries and questions, even though the latest available indicators signal some emerging improvement in public health and, thereby, good reason to hope for the best.

We are well aware of the difficulties you are being faced with and we appreciate the many questions you have raised. To facilitate your planning under the best possible conditions, including adequate timing to make your final decision, we have decided, on an exceptional basis, to postpone the 2020 “Salon du Saké” European Fair for Sake and Japanese Beverages by five weeks:

This year, the “Salon du Saké” will take place from
Saturday October 31 through Monday November 2, still in Paris, France.

We are fully aware that this decision may give rise to inconveniences for some of you and we would like to express our apologies. We trust, however, that in light of the many prevailing uncertainties today, especially as regards air transportation and travel abroad, you will also understand the major risks involved in maintaining the initial schedule for such a large international event.

We are in the process of revamping the registration schedule and of updating the documentation, including clarifications on the practicable modalities for deferring or reimbursing the registration fees. We are committed to forward the revised registration and other key information and documentation in the upcoming days.

We would like to thank you for your unfailing support and your commitment to promote the Sake and to continue to develop and expand the Sake world, notwithstanding the ongoing unfavorable circumstances. At a time when gastronomy and beverages is a sector that is being severely adversely impacted, it is critical that we meet again and join forces to re launch activity in this area as quickly and as efficiently as possible.

Please feel free to contact us any time. We are here to answer any query you may have.
We wish you the best.

Sincerely yours.

Sylvain Huet
Founding-President of the “Salon du Saké” European Fair for Sake and Japanese Beverages
